It doesn't quite stack up to their seminal 'Eve' LP but Ufomammut's 8th trip of trance-inducing, cosmic doom is still as crushing and relentless as it gets. Spliced with sci-fi oscillations, other worldly vocal miasma and thundering bass, guitar and drums, this Italian trio excel when the sound is as dense as a black hole. Such is the sheer force of nature of the music that they create, they went into self imposed exile for some years to recuperate and reset from the sonic maelstrom.
